This is a tough rod that represents Kaleido's practical approach, reviving the old-fashioned guides, straight and foregrip.
Super Stallion GT2RS

The Super Stallion is a big taper heavyweight versatile rod that is indispensable for monster games, demonstrating its overwhelming long-distance casting power and transmission sensitivity amplification ability that is excellent for large reeling lures in general, especially soft swim baits and big baits over 1 oz. This stiff rod, which represents Kaleido, has been set up to specialize in vibration amplification by mixing up cutting-edge materials and old-fashioned materials. It has been reborn as the Super Stallion GT2RS, an ultra-high sensitivity, large reeling lure and swim bait rod suitable for lower-stage stances.

The blanks are mainly made of high-strength, high-elasticity carbon "Torayca T1100G", with some ultra-high-elasticity 40-ton carbon used. In addition, the tip is tightened with a 45-degree Super Quattro Cross and the butt is tightened with a 30-degree Super Quattro Cross to reinforce the entire body. It has achieved more than 15% of the tenacity strength without changing the overall weight of the previous model.

For this latest blank, the guides have inherited the double-foot LN type large-diameter titanium frame SiC ring that was used in the original Kaleido Super Stallion. The total number of guides is nine, which is quite few in theory given the length of 7 feet 1 inch. The intention is, of course, to take into consideration the frequency of use of thick lines when using large lures and the smoothness of releasing them, but also because a larger diameter and fewer guides give more freedom to the line, making the vibration of the reel feel larger and clearer, and allowing for high-level support for swimbait and big bait fishing that makes heavy use of slack lines.

The grip uses the AAA champagne cork of the RS Limited series , but the shape is the straight type that is standard for the GT series . In addition, it is equipped with a foregrip, which is the only exception in the initial lineup of both the RS Limited and GT series.

The cork material has an airy vibration amplification effect like an acoustic guitar, and the straight grip with a large surface area, and the addition of the foregrip, the improvement in sensitivity transmission is overwhelming. In addition, the straight grip further improves the rigidity of the high taper, making it the optimal shape for casting, vibration and bite detection, and hooking as a rod for reeling large lures and swimbaits.

To create the best Super Stallion, materials and parts were tested and narrowed down to a combination of the latest materials, old-fashioned parts, and even a design that at first glance seems to be from a generation ago. The Super Stallion GT2RS, which has the special name GT2RS, is proof that the latest does not necessarily mean the best, and is the result of a pure pursuit of the best.
